Meet Our Team
Chris Lee III
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Areas of focus
I work with movement related pain, postural patterns, and clients who want to move more efficiently and comfortably. I enjoy supporting both people dealing with discomfort and those who want to maintain a healthy, functional body.
My approach
I focus on helping the body move the way it was designed to. Pain and restriction often show up when movement patterns break down, so my work blends hands on bodywork with an understanding of how the body organizes itself in motion.
How I came to this work
Exercise has always been an important part of my life. As a teenager, I loved being active, even though I didn’t always move well. A lower back disc bulge eventually forced me to make a choice. Stop exercising, or learn how the body really works. Quitting wasn’t an option.
Physical therapy and soft tissue work completely changed how I felt in my body and eliminated my pain. That experience led me to change my career path from mechanical engineering to exercise science and sparked my interest in manual therapy.
After earning my degree in Exercise Science from Winston Salem State University, I realized movement education alone wasn’t enough. Many people can’t access healthy movement because of pain or restriction. That understanding led me to the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, where I learned how to support movement through hands on care.
Techniques I often use
My sessions may include therapeutic massage, movement informed bodywork, and techniques that support better alignment and function.
What I love most about my work
I love helping people move out of pain and into a body that feels more capable and dependable.
What you can expect
You can expect a thoughtful, supportive session focused on your goals. My hope is that you leave feeling more functional, more confident, and better supported in how you move every day.
Matt Maring
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Structural Integrator
Areas of focus
I work with chronic tightness, postural and structural imbalances, movement inefficiencies, and performance related issues. I especially enjoy helping people who feel like they’ve tried everything but still know something deeper is going on.
My approach
I look at the body as an integrated system, not a collection of isolated parts. When something feels off, it’s often because the body is compensating for deeper patterns. My work focuses on addressing those patterns at the root so change can last.
How I came to this work
I’ve always been drawn to understanding how the body organizes itself through movement and tension. That curiosity led me to train at both the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork and the North Carolina School of Structural Integration here in Charlotte. Structural integration gave me the tools to see the body differently and work with it in a more complete way.
Techniques I often use
My sessions may include structural integration, deep tissue work, targeted myofascial release, and movement education to support change beyond the table.
What I love most about my work
I love helping clients connect the dots in their bodies and experience the moment when things start to feel more balanced and supported.
What you can expect
You can expect a focused, full body session that looks beyond symptoms. My goal is for you to leave feeling more organized, more stable, and clearer in how your body moves.
Cassandra Biscardi
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Clinical Herbalist
Areas of focus
I work with sports related tension, chronic stress, mobility restrictions, and whole body balance. I enjoy supporting people with physically demanding lives who need both recovery and restoration.
My approach
I approach each session with care, empathy, and attention to the whole person. I treat every client the way I would a family member and focus on creating results that support everyday life, not just short term relief.
How I came to this work
My path started in emergency medicine and nursing school, then shifted into psychology. Massage therapy brought everything together for me. From my first class, I knew this was the work I was meant to do, and it’s been my passion for over a decade.
Techniques I often use
My work may include sports massage, Chinese cupping, Ayurvedic techniques such as Abhyanga and Thai stretching, Reflexology, Reiki, and herbal support when appropriate.
What I love most about my work
I love helping clients feel empowered in their healing and sharing simple tools they can use between sessions.
What you can expect
You can expect a thoughtful, restorative session that feels both intuitive and grounded. Many clients leave feeling more open, balanced, and supported in their bodies.
Jessika Frost
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Areas of focus
I work with neuromuscular pain patterns, chronic tension, and clients who want relief that feels both effective and nurturing. I focus on helping people feel more comfortable and at ease in their bodies.
My approach
I combine a strong understanding of anatomy with an intuitive, compassionate style of care. I pay close attention to what your body is communicating and tailor each session so it feels both precise and supportive.
How I came to this work
I began my career as a cosmetologist nearly two decades ago, where caring for people through touch became a natural part of my work. Over time, I felt called to deepen that connection and expand into massage therapy. Making that shift allowed me to support people in a more meaningful, therapeutic way.
Massage quickly became something I truly love. The more I learned, the more I appreciated how powerful intentional touch can be in helping the body release pain and tension.
Techniques I often use
My sessions often include neuromuscular massage and focused therapeutic techniques designed to address the source of discomfort.
What I love most about my work
I love helping clients feel genuinely comfortable and relaxed, and knowing they can leave a session feeling lighter and more at ease.
What you can expect
You can expect a caring, attentive session where your comfort comes first. My goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed, supported, and noticeably better in your body.
Ken Smith
While serving our country as a Paramedic/LVN in the US Air Force, I injured my back. The injury was severe enough that I thought I would never be able to play basketball or get out of a chair without groaning again.
So if you’re suffering from debilitating back pain or other injury, trust me when I say I know how you’re feeling because I’ve felt the exact same way.
I was fortunate that my story didn’t end there. Instead, I met a man that knew exactly what to do to help me. He was a Physical Therapist and Rolf Structural Integrator.
I’m sure a lot of you are saying, “What the holy hell is a Structural Integrator and what’s a Rolf?” It’s a fancy way to say he knew exactly what to do to help me, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little shocked when he got rid of my pain.
Shocked and amazed enough with the results he was able to achieve for me,
I HAD to study with him. I was lucky that he agreed to teach me everything he knew and guided me into the right education courses to get the rest.
Fast forward another 16 years of clinical experience, and further education with tenured Osteopaths/brilliant Physical Therapists/top Rolf Method Structural Integration educators and many other amazing healers,
I have no problem saying I have invaluable expertise, education, experience and confidence in this field.
Not to mention that 20+ years after my injury (and recovery) the results have stuck: I can still play the sports I want, hit the gym 5 days a week and get out of bed in the morning without sounding like a zombie. Not bad for kicking 50’s door down, right?
But back to that moment I started feeling like a human again. Because in that moment I had a flash of clarity, and realized that more than wanting the education from my mentor, I wanted it because I wanted to dedicate my life to assisting others that needed help in the same way I needed it. To this day I get amazing fulfillment every time one of my clients reaches their goals, walks without a cane, break records in their sport or avoids unnecessary surgery.
My heart bursts when someone is allowed a life unhindered by physical limitations, like the ones I thought I had to live with for the rest of my life. Regardless of your reason behind seeking treatment, I will always do my very best to help you. I am honored to be a part of your healthcare team and I look forward to meeting you soon!
